Not landscapes

Me, an old romantic taking photographs of beautiful landscapes?

These photographs were incidentally taken with my phone, and the first one below was used, with some slight mods, for my Xmas card.  Maybe I'll post that too.

Fridge. You have one too.

What does it look like.  Very personal probably.  This is mine today.  Tomorrow it will be different and so will yours.  Probably.

On my fridge there is my mum and various avantgarde musicians and photographers.  Together.

This is an instant camera.  Looks digital but is instant.  And it's not Polaroid.  It's Fuji.

All Lomo gear is must have.  I only have The Lomo, The LC-A.  Yes, I need to use it more.

Moroccan toilets

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
I like toilets.  They are everywhere and we all use them all of the time.  Their differences are amazing and the desire to rush in and out often hides their beauty and uniqueness.  Yeah, many are not nice, but like thirst, can you remember what it's like?

More photos of Moroccan toilets soon.  I hate the word toilet.  Like in a railway station: 'Toilets'.

Painted blue rocks, Morocco

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
These rocks are in the desert in Morocco and they are painted blue.  Painted by some Belgians I believe.  Bit if a waste really - I mean, the place is beautiful but painting the rocks blue has spoiled it.  So I'm showing them in black and white.  So you can see it as it should have been.

What is this?

I was bored with how my eatmorechips photoblog looked.  This is the revamp.  This new photoblog (plain blog?) dates back to August and charts my trials and tribulations in getting it installed and up and running.  The archives of the old blog (all the way back to 2005) are still available and there is a link in the sidebar.

Some of the posts below charting my progress are a bit ranting but so be it.  It was quite difficult getting it going.

Anyway, new start.

Not a tank

It looked like a tank from far off. but alas it was some sort of JCB type thing.  The whole group, this was in Morocco BTW, laughed and knew (knew) that we had to stop so that I could photograph this thing despite the beautiful landscape it was sitting in.

Renault 4

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
I was expecting, and hoping, to see lots of old and beautiful vehicles in Morocco.  There were loads.  Being an ex-French colony there were many Renault cars.  Mainly 4s, 12s and 16s, but also 504s and other vintages.  Even Simcas.  Obviously the French didn't do decent-sized vans as there were many ancient beautiful Transits.  Didn't get to photograph them though.  My wish to stop the group in a village that seemed to revolve around vehicle-mending and car mechanics (where the Transits were) was overruled by wanting to stop in more picturesque places.

All the Renault 4s were white.
